Analysis of Teachers' Resources for Integrating the Skills of Creativity and Innovation, Critical Thinking and Problem Solving, Collaboration, and Communication in Science Classrooms

The significance of learners acquiring the skills required in 21st century, including communication skills, teamwork, ICT-related and socio-cultural knowledge, imagination, critical thinking, problem-solving, has been extensively discussed. Integrating century into curriculum requires teachers to have knowledge resources foster classroom practices. This qualitative study was designed explore that Indonesian science use supporting implementation creativity innovation, thinking problem solving, collaboration, (4Cs) integrated instruction. Data analyses include surveys, audio recordings smalls large group discussions, discussion artifacts 28 Indonesia vocational high school identify type had access support integration 4C instruction extent which these promote analysis indicates multiple help them prepare for teaching practices, various professional development (PD) programs, teacher collaborations, guidelines, open resources. Teachers found Teacher Professional Education (TPE) most favorable PD program, guideline least effective advancing integration. Implications are discussed further.
